Who We Are
The Solvero Group was formed to bring clarity and professionalism to one of the most misunderstood areas of the insurance claims process — the appraisal.
We work with policyholders, carriers, and legal professionals who need disputes resolved accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with policy language and applicable state law. Our role is not to advocate outcomes, but to evaluate loss, scope, and causation objectively so claims can move forward.
Insurance disputes are rarely just about numbers. They are about interpretation, documentation, and process. Our job is to remove uncertainty and replace it with defensible conclusions.
What Makes Us Different
Appraisal only works when it is done correctly
We approach every assignment with a disciplined methodology grounded in policy interpretation, claim documentation, and real-world adjusting experience. That means:
- Clear separation of coverage, causation, and scope
- Respect for the boundaries of the appraisal process
- Thorough documentation that withstands scrutiny
- Communication that reduces friction instead of creating it
We do not inflate, shortcut, or speculate. Our work is built to stand up — whether in appraisal, mediation, or litigation.
Experience That Informs Our Work
The Solvero Group is led by Jason Good, whose background in property insurance claims spans more than three decades. He began his career as an adjuster in 1992 after graduating from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and went on to own and operate multiple daily claims service offices in South Dakota. Over time, his work expanded to include large-loss and catastrophe response through the creation of a dedicated CAT operation, providing firsthand experience with complex, high-volume claims. This extensive claims background informs the firm’s appraisal work today, bringing a practical understanding of claim handling, documentation, and dispute resolution to every assignment.
Our Values
Clarity
Insurance disputes are complicated. We believe they should be explained clearly. Our reports and communications are structured to be understood by adjusters, attorneys, and policyholders alike.
Integrity
We tell clients what they need to know — not what they want to hear. Our conclusions are based on facts, policy language, and documentation, not pressure or preference.
Finality
Appraisal exists to resolve disputes, not prolong them. Our work is designed to move claims toward resolution with confidence and precision.
How We Work
We follow a defined, methodical process on every assignment. That includes:
- Careful review of policy language and claim history
- Detailed inspection and documentation
- Objective scope and valuation analysis
- Professional communication throughout the appraisal process
We respect timelines, expectations, and the roles of all parties involved. When appraisal is appropriate, we help ensure it fulfills its intended purpose.
Our Role in the Appraisal Process
The Solvero Group serves as an independent appraisal professional. We do not provide legal advice, make coverage determinations, or authorize repairs. Our role is to evaluate the loss and present a reasoned, supportable position consistent with the appraisal clause.
This disciplined approach protects the integrity of the process and the interests of all parties involved.
Appraisal & Umpire work is performed with nationally recognized P.L.A.N. standards — ensuring deep knowledge of valuation, scope review, and dispute resolution methodology.
Moving Forward
If you are involved in an insurance claim where appraisal is being considered or is already underway, we are available to provide experienced, objective guidance through the process. We welcome conversations with policyholders, carriers, and attorneys who value professionalism, clarity, and resolution.
