Client Service Agreement
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Company: The Solvero Group (“we,” “our,” “us”)
Client: The individual completing the online assessment and purchasing services (“you,” “your”)
This Appraisal Services Agreement describes the terms under which The Solvero Group provides appraisal-related and damage documentation services. This Agreement is provided for transparency and informational purposes and reflects the terms that apply when services are formally engaged.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nebraska.
1. Disclosure of Role
The Solvero Group is not a public insurance adjusting firm and does not provide legal advice, insurance coverage opinions, or policy interpretation.
Our role is strictly limited to:
- Providing independent appraisal services when properly invoked under the Appraisal Clause of an insurance policy; and/or
- Providing third-party documentation and damage assessment services in situations where appraisal is not applicable.
2. Non-Advocacy Acknowledgment
The Solvero Group acts as an independent appraiser, not as an advocate for either party.
We do not represent, promote, or advance the interests of the insured or the insurance carrier, do not negotiate claim settlements, and do not attempt to obtain a higher or lower result for any party. Our role is limited to independently evaluating the amount of loss in accordance with the appraisal provisions of the insurance policy.
3. Purpose of Engagement
When formally engaged, The Solvero Group serves as an appraiser under the appraisal clause of the applicable insurance policy, or provides damage documentation services where appraisal is not available.
Our services apply only to disputes regarding the amount of loss. We do not provide coverage determinations, policy interpretation, legal advice, or claim handling services.
4. Scope of Services
When engaged, The Solvero Group may:
- Review relevant claim documentation
- Inspect and document physical damage, when applicable
- Communicate and coordinate with the opposing appraiser
- Participate in the appraisal process through its conclusion
We do not act as public adjusters, attorneys, or legal representatives.
5. Fees and Costs
Fees for appraisal services are agreed upon separately at the time of engagement.
Umpire fees are not included in appraisal service fees. Umpires are often required in appraisal matters and determine their own fees. Total umpire fees typically range from $2,500 to $3,500, depending on the size and complexity of the appraisal. Unless otherwise agreed, each party is generally responsible for 50% of the umpire’s fee, resulting in an estimated client share of $1,250 to $1,750.
6. Property Access Authorization
When engaged, clients authorize The Solvero Group to access and inspect the insured property for the purpose of documenting damage.
No repairs, alterations, destructive testing, or physical testing will be performed. The Solvero Group does not authorize repairs, mitigation, or construction work.
7. Client Cooperation
Clients are expected to cooperate with the appraisal process, including providing timely access to the property and relevant information.
Failure to cooperate may limit or delay services and does not constitute a breach by The Solvero Group.
8. No Guarantee of Outcome
Appraisal involves independent professional judgment and may include participation by an opposing appraiser and an umpire.
The Solvero Group:
- Does not advocate for either party
- Does not guarantee a higher appraisal award or any particular outcome
- Does not control the decisions of insurers, appraisers, umpires, or other third parties
Appraisal awards may be higher or lower than amounts previously offered or paid.
9. Confidentiality
Claim information is handled confidentially and used solely for purposes related to the appraisal or documentation assignment, subject to disclosure as required during the appraisal process or by law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability arising from appraisal services provided by The Solvero Group is limited to the amount paid for those services.
The Solvero Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including dissatisfaction with an appraisal result or award.
11. Governing Law
Any formal engagement for appraisal services is governed by the laws of the state in which the insured property is located, unless otherwise required by law.
12. Formal Engagement Required
This online Agreement does not itself create an appraiser-client relationship.
An appraiser-client relationship is created only through a separate, written engagement agreement executed by both parties.
